About Juan Guillermo Roa

Juan Guillermo Roa brings a fair amount of knowledge and varied life experience to the table as a real estate agent. After moving to New York at the age of 14 from his home of Bogota, Colombia, Juan went from high school in New Hyde Park to graduating college from Farmingdale State College with a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. Living in various parts of Long Island has gained him extensive knowledge of not only the area's real estate, but the local residential codes as well. Juan's passion for meeting and helping people find their dream home led him to join the real estate community. Prior to this, he began his career in high-end residential firms and design-build firms in the North Shore and has been in the architectural field since 2008.

The knowledge he gained with this work has given Juan more insight into the needs and desires of the buyers and sellers he represents and has helped him stay current on the trends in design and technology regarding residential homes. He relishes in the many opportunities to find just the right home or investment property for his clients. Juan is bursting with positivity and determination. He thrives on attention to detail and is fluent in Spanish. He is always focused on moving forward. This has been a common characteristic throughout his entire life and is demonstrated by his ability to not only imagine and achieve far-reaching goals, but maintain the perseverance and patience to see each step on the journey through to its conclusion.
